Emails are answered by the engineer who builds Structura, usually within two working days.
Reporting something that looks wrong
The app has a feedback box built in — open Help from the home screen, or from Settings under About. Sending it from there attaches the build number and platform automatically, which is usually what decides whether a report is a known issue or a new one.
If you would rather email, please include the module you were using (for example beam, takedown or grid), your app version from the Help screen, and the inputs you used. For a calculation you disagree with, the calc sheet PDF export is the fastest thing to send.
What Structura does not do
A PASS means the gravity design checks out under the assumptions you entered. It is not approval to build. Every output must be reviewed and approved by a licensed structural engineer.
- No seismic design, and no piled foundations.
- No settlement calculation.
- Wind is a simplified static method, and the basic wind speed is used exactly as you supply it.
- Bar schedules are for confirmation at detailing, not final detailing drawings.
Account and data
Your projects are stored on your own device, with an optional backup to your account so a phone can be replaced. Plan images you use as an underlay are never uploaded. You can delete your account and its data at any time from Settings in the app, or from the account-deletion page below without installing it.
